A Family Dairy
We are the Baillie Family from Hillhead of Covington. William, Jennifer , Abbie, Eva and Finlay.
Hillhead of Covington is a dairy farm milking 400 Holstein cows located between Tinto Hill and the river Clyde in South Lanarkshire.
We love our cows and we love the milk they produce. So we pasteurise some of it to share directly with you.
Our milk vending machines are located in The Milk Hut here at Hillhead of Covington. At Brownlies of Biggar, Lawrie & Symington Country Store, Lanark and fresh milk available at Broughton Village Store.
We also supply some local hotels and cafes with our fresh whole milk.
The Cows of Covington
Here at Hillhead of Covington its all about the cows! Their health and happiness is our most important job.
Our of cows are all bred and reared on the farm from baby calves all the way through to mature cows who produce our delicious milk.
A cow will start producing milk once she has had her first calf.
